McAfee AntiVirus Software
In an effort to better campus network security, McAfee VirusScan is now available free of charge to all Resnet customers at https://secure.mtu.edu. Students will need their ISO passwords to download the software.

Supported Software
On the Resnet Software page you can find all the software that Resnet officially supports, this includes the customized version of Mozilla and Internet Explorer, Thunderbird, and many other useful applications.

Patches and Updates
The Resnet Security Site offers a wide range of updates and patches for both Windows and Linux. You can also find information on how to avoid viruses, and what you can do in the unfortunate event that you get one. This is a must-read page for anyone on Resnet.

Resnet Service in the Heights

Daniell Heights customers are still required to sign up for Resnet service as any other service for their appartment. This can be done at the Customer Service desk located in the EERC room B12.
