Ruckus @ MTU — FAQs

How do I cancel my subscription to Ruckus?
Answer from the Ruckus site:

Go in to your account at www.Ruckus.com. Next to the Welcome message, there is a link for your *My Account* page. Click on *My Account* and then click on "*Unsubscribe* " link next to the Service (subscription) you wish to cancel.

Can I burn the music I have downloaded?
Answer from the Ruckus site:

The music you download from Ruckus can not be burned. The license agreements Ruckus has with record labels prohibit burning songs to CDs. We offer two options for burning - eMusic and Buy.com.

We offer a limited subscription to eMusic where you can download a certain number of songs per month from the eMusic site that can be burned to CD. You can subscribe to this service by clicking on the My Account link when you are signed into the Ruckus site.

We also have a partnership through Buy.com to offer burnable songs at 99 cents a track (or less!). You can purchase burnable songs through the Ruckus page by clicking on the green $ next to the track you are interested in.

Our subscription music is available for your computer or compatible mp3 player.

We offer compatibility with Ruckus to Go on Plays For Sure Subscription compliant players for download and subscription. We offer a list of such devices at http://www.ruckus.com/newuser/devices.html

Can I still use Ruckus after I graduate?
Answer from the Ruckus site:
Ruckus is a service provided by your school. For now, once you graduate, you'll no longer have access to Ruckus. But have no fear! . . .we are working on a solution that will let you keep using Ruckus after you graduate.

Attention!

The Ruckus Network web site has not yet been set up to show that MTU students are getting free Ruckus on-campus music subscriptions this semester.

Just sign up as you normally would for the 14 day free trial, then use the MTU Telcom option for payment. NO bills will be sent for these on-campus music subscriptions this semester.

Again, the Ruckus Network web site has not yet been properly set up for this offer.
