Residence Life Network (Resnet) — Getting your Xbox 360 Online
 

You must enter your MAC address on our website to get your Xbox 360 online. This page provides instructions on setting up your Xbox 360 and getting it online.

1. Go to the System area of the Xbox Dashboard and select Network Settings.

2. Select Edit Settings.

3. Under Basic Settings, check to make sure the IP Settings is on Automatic.

4. Now go to Additional Settings, select Advanced Settings.

5. At the bottom of this screen you'll see a heading called Wired MAC Address.

6. Go to http://register.resnet.mtu.edu to add your xbox 360 to the network. *NOTE: You will need you MAC address from above*
